At the end of the last episode, Yuuki fell down unconsciously on the ground. He gets carried into a nearby hospital for emergency care. Along the way, Mirai falls asleep twice, and both time she dreams of Yuuki being dead. The next morning, she wakes up and realizes that Yuuki is all good, and she is all happy again.
On the other hand, Mari is watching the news at the hospital and she is worrying about her family back at Sankenja. So, she gathers up Mirai and Yuuki, and they starts heading toward Sankenja.
Just a thought, I think Mirai has matured from the start of this anime until this point by what have happened around her. Also, she seems to be smiling more.
