Hayate no Gotoku ep 24: Date btw Hina & Ayumu

OMG! This is such a squee-worthy episode, even more than usual! I love Hina and Ayumu soooooooooo much!

First thing to note is that this episode is filled with not only a lot of “So awesome!”, “Kyaaaaaaaa” and “Awwwwwwwwwwww” moments, but also beautiful images of night scenery centered around the city, sakura and Ferris Wheel. So here are some shots to begin the episode with:

Continued from last episode, Hina has something to confess to Ayumu about.

However, Ayumu wants to hold the talk at another location

Ayumu wants to hold the discussion at the top of the 100m Ferris Wheel, but…

Ayumu loves the view from the top of the Ferris Wheel,

but as for Hina…

Ayumu asked if Hina was afraid of heights, to which this tsundere’s reaction is

Following Murphy’s Law, the Ferris Wheel stopped moving midway

Ayumu’s solution is for Hina to distract herself by singing,

but Ayumu was actually kidding and didn’t expect Shizuka Hina to sing

Ayumu finally draws the episode plot back to where it was supposed to go

Meanwhile, Nagi has gone missing at Sakuya’s party.

Fyi, Nagi didn’t answer the call. Sakuya and Hayate then set out to look for her. Sakuya then asks the question all fans (who didn’t read the manga) wants to know.

Hayate reveals that he has an older brother.

Sakuya is a true friend who understands Nagi well.

Back to Ayumu and Hina.

Ayumu is confident that she wouldn’t lose.

Ayumu has a question for Hina.

Back to Nagi’s story, since she’s the main character. After losing her mother and possibly Himegami, Nagi fears eventually losing Maria, Hayate, and everyone around her. Hayate tries to cheer her up.

But results weren’t the desired outcome..

Nonetheless, Nagi regains her trust in Hayate and the rest.

After achieving a Happily Ever After outcome here, Sakuya has a present for Nagi and her own party.

Next week on HnG

Nagi is sick.

Hina is in a blue-meido outfit?

Hayate activates his Geass?!

Apparently next week will be the last episode of HnG. 25 eps is too short! A third season is needed!
