Yay for long titles. This month, our lovely Feito-chan will be back, in original loli form!!! Oh and Nanoha too, yeah. The one reason why I didn’t watch StrikerS is because non-loli Fate breaks my heart. I don’t care if it’s a recap movie; Fate is back! <3

Anyway, as expected from Mizuki Nana, this album is awesome! She has another single coming out Feb 10; the opening theme for the Nanoha A's PSP game.

Shin Tokyo – Madman DVDs (R4) – January

Yeah, I agree, a lil’ late to the game, being the 12th day of the month, but hey, I can’t complain!

Anyway, it’s a good month for fans of Bleach, Code Geass, and Gundam, with Volume 18, R2 Volume 2 and Double 0 Volume 3, respectively, coming out. To me though (a fan of none of those shows), this is a pretty lousy month.

#5 Featured Character: Happy

Happy. The annoying Blue Cat that Follows Natsu Around.

Happy is a Weird Magical Cat that has been with Natsu Dragneel since forever and has a Huge Obsession with Fish

Appearance:-

Happy takes the form of a small blue cat with a white underbelly and tail-end wearing a green scarf around his neck and a green backpack that he carries around. When using his magic he can grow a pair of large angel-like wings that allow him to fly around and carry others. He has a unique ability which allows him to speak which may be attributed to his magic. His Fairy Tail tattoo is located on his back that is usually covered by the backpack.

History:-

Sometime before the start of the series, Natsu found a egg in the forest east of the town. Initially, Natsu thought it was a dragon egg due to the claw-like markings on the egg. Lisana offered to help, and the two attempted to keep the egg warm. A few days later, the two woke up to find the egg missing and after a confrontation with some of the other members of the guild it was eventually revealed that Elfmanhad took the egg to keep it warm at night. Just as the egg was returned it suddenly began to hatch and out popped a cat with wings: Happy – with his first word being “Aye!”. He was given the name thanks to Natsu after Lisana pointed out the change of atmosphere from one of anger to happiness after the hatching. Despite everyone else seeing him as a cat Natsu at first thought he was a dragon.[2]

Natsu and Happy soon become an inseparable team with Happy assisting in Natsu’s search for Igneel.

Hanasakeru Seishounen 31-34

sorry for the super_late updates~~~ >,< I have so much task from my teacher and didn't have enough time to write this,, but now i have it,, ^0^~~

so the main story for this 4 episodes are:
32: Li ren choose to quit as Fang group's leader, because he thinks that this burden will be a nuisance for him to protect kajika. Kajika,Li ren, and noei's little brother went to the palace to freed Noei and Euegene. and in her way to get out, she met with najayra's mother, someone who knows kajika's true lineage. but li ren asks her not to leak this out, because it will be inconvenient for both parties. and Quinza as always with his bizarre plan, kill all of useless chamberlain for him, with another people's hand -_-;;

33: Carl's nee-san told Quinza about kajika's true lineage,, and of course he didn't just sit down calmly, he planned to kill kajika.

34: the best episode,, Quinza and Kajika was running in the roof like some cat that want to hunt mouse as his lunch. when kajika almost killed by quinza, luckily Li ren come in the right time and shot Quinza, so he fell from the roof. after that Kajika told li-ren when she's so desperate and asking for help, only li-ren's face that pop out in her head,, and then kiss scene between them~~

and in preview for epi 35, quinza isn’t dead, and i think he tries to kill kajika again~

btw, i almost forgot about rumaty-chama, his charm as the prince was overwhelming everybody~~ and the next epi he will do some open-confrence in the airport~~

Baka to Test to Shokanju aka Idiots and Tests and Summoned Beings oh my!

Probably the most surprising thing about this anime is that it’s surprisingly decent. I wouldn’t go ahead and recommend that you follow this show, but its probably worth watching a couple eps to see where it goes.

So whassit about? On the surface, it looks to be a harem gag anime, and it may well turn out that way for all we know. And unfortunately, that’s kinda how it starts too, as we’re introduced to the cast and crew of the show, with some emphasis on the main character being more competent than he seems. A legendary “Punishment Inspector” even. Blah blah blah, it’s all pretty generic seeming, until we hit about the halfway mark, at which point…

Anyone remember Kujibiki Unbalance? The show within a show for Genshiken, as well as a full fledged anime in and of itself. Well, Kujian (Kujibiki Unbalance) sucked mightily, but Baka to Test to Shokanju basically does it right. The premise is that the school has some weird battle rules that’ll let you improve your lot in life. While Class A has state of the art facilities and a nurturing learning environment, Class F is positively derelict. To rise from the depths of destitution, students in a class can summon chibified versions of themselves to do battle against other classes. Winner take all.

The process is simple, first challenge another class to battle, then kidnap a teacher corresponding to the subject you’re good at. Your chibi avatar’s stats are based on your test scores, so if your class has lots of people good at math, you’ll want to kidnap the math teacher. He’ll then initiate the battle between classes, and the class whose Representative/Monitor is slain will be declared the loser. The LOSER. Who would then have their rights of humanity revoked/lowered. To be ridiculed and humiliated for all the centuries of all the millennium throughout human history and destiny. *ahem*

Anywho, students can also recover HP during battle by leaving the battlefield and taking tests in the relevant subject(s). It’s all very organized mayhem.

What makes this work are the little things. There’s the RPG elements to the battles of course, which are cute. But things like the weather stats, such as the temperature and humidity, help to add a lot of quirky charm to the battles. But what allows this first ep battle to be pretty decent is that there’s actually some strategy involved, as devised by the representative of Class F, as well as the revelation as to the true nature of the main character, which I will now spoil, because it’s pretty obvious from the series title. Basically, he’s an idiot. I mean, he’s your typical idiot ball carrying main character, but they managed to make this fact relevant to what passes as the plot for this pilot episode.

Oh, and the trap’s transformation sequence rocks. It’s totally Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha style, and the lyrics for the end theme is pretty neat too. Like, the singer laments that he has to stay behind for extra lessons, which sucks, but deep down he realizes, he really IS that stupid; that for years, he thought the “Monthly Parking” in parking lots was the name of the company that owns the lot.

All in all, this is a decent show thus far. I hope they’ll have more battles and strategems and manipulations. I hope it won’t devolve into Nyan Koi and that the Class F Rep continues to make things interesting. I doubt this show will become awesome like Kamen no Maid Guy, but hopefully it won’t suck and it’ll be a decent watch. At least for a few eps.

Till then, we shall see.

Blog update; Dropping Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee), and picking up Sora no Woto.

          After watching thirteen episodes of, and blogging twelve episodes of Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee) I’ve decided to drop my episodic coverage of Letter Bee. I felt that Letter Bee had started off strongly, but as the episodes went by I grew tired of Lag’s crying, and decidedly un-shonen like behavior. My disdain for Lag’s crying has reached the point where if I have to cover one more episode of him crying like a baby, I’ll……..

 

Goodbye, Niche and Steak, you were the most interesting part of the entire series.

       So, I’ll be picking up episodic coverage of Sora no Woto to fill the gap left after dumping Letter Bee. At least Kanata is self-aware enough to know she sucks.
