Naruto being a hero?

I like the anime Naruto because of the character Uzumaki Naruto, though he is not that talented but he compensate his lack of talent with hard work and perseverance. He also make friends with bitter rivals easily and even the most dangerous of enemies. But as the story goes by especially during the Naruto Shippuden, can Naruto really defeat Sasuke who by now is really getting stronger and has such powerful jutsu. Well maybe its to early to say this but what do you think?
